Sinigang na munggo is a recipe that is budget-friendly, healthy, and delicious. This dish is easy to prepare as well.

Servings 5 people

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Munggo beans
  • 1 tbsp garlic, chopped
  • 1/2 lb pork sliced
  • 1 cup radish, sliced
  • 1 medium size onion chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 cups kangkong
  • 4 pcs ladies finger (okra), sliced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tsp singang mix
  • 1/4 cup ginger
  • 2 pcs green chilli, chopped
  • 1 pork cubes

Instructions:

  1. Soak Munggo beans in water for 30 mins
  2. In a large shallow cooking pan, put oil and saute onions and garlic followed by pork
  3. Let pork turn a little brownish and put some salt
  4. Add Munggo beans and add water
  5. Close cover and let it boil for 30 minutes
  6. Add white radish, sinigang mix, ladies finger (okra)
  7. Add Kangkong, green chili, and tomato
  8. Put in black pepper and salt to taste
  9. Mix and boil for 2 minutes and its ready to serve
